Thats what I thought,
but no go.
I should have mentioned,
I could swear I have that exact converter.
And the connection is super flaky.
The slighted touch and I loose the sound.
Of the two rings on the Bluetooth male connector,
the top ring in 1mm higher than on the top ring on the Apple EarPods.
Where the Apple ends the Bluetooth begins,
if you can follow what I'm describing.
Which is why I was thinking maybe there is an Apple to 3.5 converter.
And that is where I believe the problem lies.
It maybe the bluetooth is not the perfect quality.
Or it maybe the apple is proprietary.
I really didn't want to buy another type of earbuds as I really like the Apples.
But I might have to for compatibility sake.
Maybe go down to the electronics shop and try a few connector/converters to find one that WILL work consistently.

After further targeted testing,
it IS the Apple male plug that is the issues with my converter.
