Why won't my iPhone connect to my mac bluetooth ?

I have a MBP mid 2012 version and i've been trying really hard to connect my iPhone 5s to the mac via bluetooth .
My iP shows the device (mac is not supported)

This is really disturbing because switching to apple i only wanted things to be easier and more accessible.

Now, i can't even transfer a photo from my mac to my iPhone .Not without internet at least .

My mac won't show the iPhone in the airdrop even ?

are there any chances of this issue getting reviewed .
i'm sure i'm not the only one facing this problem
