Hiding Apple id on iOS device?

Hi,

I am thinking of using an iPod Touch for business. The iPod would be loaded with two free apps and everything locked out in restrictions so just these apps can be used (no other apps added or deleted, no camera, safari etc), but whatever I do I can´t delete or hid my Apple ID. I don't want third party users knowing my id. Is there anyway I can hide or delete my Apple id (I tried signing out of iTunes, but id still appears)?

Thanks

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Lets understand, you want your IPod touch to be unlocked, used by your coworkers, specifically the two apps, but your Apple ID hidden.

You say you tried logging out of ITunes, but have you tried logging out of ICloud too? In the IPod's settings go to ICloud and log out of there.

It might still suggest that you log in with your last used apple ID when you attempt it. That is, the username is saved and offered as the default whenever you try to log in again.

There are two answers then.

First is to reset the phone. If you do Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings, it might clear the last used apple ID from the memory. If it doesn't you can use Erase All Content and Settings to purge it with dire certainty. This will however also remove your free apps.

The second answer is to create another apple id, we'll call it Second ID. Make sure that that ID and the information in it is something you don't mind your co-workers seeing. Then, log out with the orginal Apple ID out of the device (itunes, icloud...) and log in with the Second ID. Then log out with the second ID too. The only thing someone will be able to see is your Second ID username. You could also install the free apps from it.

Hope this helps.
