iPhone 6 front camera not working

My iPhone 6's front camera has stopped working on every app (like snapchat, facebook messenger and the normal camera app). I can switch it to the front camera and take photos but they are just black and the screen is black. From the looks of it there is nothing inside my camera & I have restarted my phone several times as well as done a software update. I am a teenage girl who NEEDS the front camera I AM VERY STRESSED PLEASE HELP!

Hi RileyAnne,

If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:

Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.
