I have two photos on my iPhone in Photos.app which are dated 20 March 2026. I can't find any way to delete them. If I select them, the wastebasket icon is greyed out. If I try editing them "This photo is not editable".
Any thoughts?

Did you try closing Photos and force restart the phone?
Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe left to find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
To force restart the device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Yes, of course. It didn't help.
Did you try changing the date ahead? Settingas>General>Date and Time. Set the date ahead past March 2026. See if you can delete the Photos. If you can, do so then go back and change the date and time to automatic again.
That's a better idea, but it still didn't work. The wastebasket is still greyed out.

I did solve it, but I can't precisely remember how. I vaguely remember I edited the EXIF information using some app I downloaded, but I can't be certain.
