Problem with iPod nano 6g...HELP!!!! :(

Hello! few days ago I bought an ipod nano 6g from internet without original USB cable . I go into a store and I bought a cable not original. when i connect my ipod to my computer, the ipod charge, but it isn't show on my pc (samsung with windows 8), as well as not exist! Need I an original cable ? help! sorry for the bad english....
