I and another user are trying to share our photos on the icloud sharing and we cant see what the other has posted. When I accept an invite it says "this album is no longer shared" we both have the photo sharing button on.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.

Did the other person wait until all their photos had uploaded to the shared album before inviting you. You may simply have to wait a while.
I got the same problem, and it worked well before, but these days just go bad...
If I tried to create new sharing album, and invite my friend, she was also told "This album is no longer shared".
I am trying to share an iCloud album with cousins and one received a "This album is no longer shared" notice... why??
Here it is, years later, people are still reporting this bug, and no reply from Apple.
