Different iMac icons mean different computers?

Couldn't 'add to library' my movies from the previous version of iTunes. Apple rep discovered that the iMac icon in 'about this Mac' differs from the Macintosh HD on my desktop. Could this be a problem? in the former, the icon is a white imac and on my desktop it's chrome. ???
