Subscribed calendars not syncing across devices

I have created quite a few calendars and all synchronise across iCloud and down to all my devices, however a calendar that I have subscribed to will not show up anywhere else. It works fine on my phone but I can't get it on iCloud or down to any of my other devices.

Can this be solved or is it just one of the million iCloud sync bugs (like the fact I can see my MacBooks safari tabs on my phone but not the other way around!).

I could always just subscribe to the same calendar on my iCal but wanted to find out if it was a fixable issue first.
