Pages 09 doc with table blank
My friend created a document in Pages 09 with tables in it on her old laptop. When trying to open it on her new laptop with the latest version of Pages (Yosemite) the document is blank. Any ideas?
Any warning panel that said the table would be removed because of some compatibility reason?
Pages v5.5.3 on Yosemite is an entirely different application that is not based on Pages '09. Consequently, there are about 100+ Pages '09 features/functionality that Apple omitted from Pages v5.5.3. The latter application will treat that feature disparity via a warning dialog indicating certain features are unsupported and will be removed — which will have an adverse effect on the document contents. Some documents, it may simply refuse to open.
