How do I stop the front camera of my iphone5s from flipping selfies

When I took a selfie on my old phone (Samsung s4), the picture that was saved was the picture that I would see myself as, but iPhones flip it so it shows me as everyone else sees me, I don't like this at all! I hate the way I look in the mirrored image ( probably because I'm so used to it being the other way). Why is it that only iPhone front cameras do this and not on other phones, even snapchat keeps the image the same as when you take It, it doesn't flip it? Is there any way to stop this? Otherwise im sadly going to have to take my selfies on snapchat and save the image that way! Annoying!
