Keep V2 being played, when some Tracks has only V1

I have three DVDSP project that uses Track with V1 and V2.

Using scripts I set default to V2. (Runs after First play)

In a Settings menu, the user can switch between V1 and V2.

Now, the catch - I have Tracks that has only V1.

If V2 is set and the user plays a Track with V1, V1 plays (which is correct).

But then the system stays with V1, which is not what I want.

How can I solve this?
