My ipad2 is locked in recovery mode and iTunes will not recognize the ipad

Turn iPad OFF

Connect lead to USB on your PC

Press & hold down power button on iPad

Connect lead to iPad keep power button until PC sees ipad.

Wait for restore .

You may need to do this more than once.

when i did it , the ipad need to activate by previous owner, who is not available .
