Iphone not connecting to Itunes

Hello, I have an iphone 5s. It's iOS software is up to date as is my itunes. I have a windows computer with the windows 10 operating system. Whenever I connect my iphone to my computer, nothing happens. It charges but Itunes can't recognized my phone and it displays a message saying, "iTunes could not connect to this phone. An error occured (0xE8000003). I have tried many things but they have not helped.

Generally issues with a device not being recognized in iTunes use this to help. iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support


The 0xE error can be researched here. iOS: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting to a Windows PC - Apple Support


Also, if you just updated recently, did you restart the computer, iTunes and the iPhone? If not, you should.

That sounds as if you do not have administrative access on the device, or there is an issue with the iTunes installation. You may have to remove it and reinstall it. See this support document. Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 - Apple Support
