Q: Having problems with photos in slide show.

Hello, I am trying to create a slide show in iPhoto.  I am using an older version, 9.5.1.  Some of my vertical images are showing as horizontal. When I try to go back to the individual image and rotate it the image is showing the way it is supposed to.  Is there any way I can fix this?

Try the following:

 

1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.

2 - apply Option #4, Rebuild Database, and try the slideshow again.

 

If that doesn't help create a new slideshow with the same photos and see if the problem is repeated there.
