Having trouble getting rid of an old reoccurring calendar event off my telephone. It does not show up anywhere else so must be from an old phone. How do I get rid of it now? Ideas?

It shows to mine on iCloud but on the computer calendar it doesn't show up at all.
It does not show up on my our other iPhone calendar just mine.
login on to Calendar on icloud.com and check there for your troubled calendar event
Okay, I tried that and the appointment does not show up on the computer calendar it just shows up on my iPhone calendar.
I have upgraded my telephone and am having a problem with an appointment made on the calendar of a previous phone which I cannot seem to get rid of now. It was a reoccurring appointment which has now ended.
