How to open app that expired but i have paid for auto renewal subs?

i have subscribe one of apps via apple store and pay annually. However, for this year, my app has been auto renew and charge last Aug 26th 2015 and its active in apple ID. But physically in app says that I have to renew and select the new package. Why should i choise again as I have paid the renewal fee? I cant use the app until now. Please advise.
