no sound for incoming text messages?

This worked for me. is the text message preceded by a 'half moon'?

you may have 'Do Not Disturb" on. I didn't but when I pressed "Details" for that caller, (upper right hand corner of the text screen) I found that I had the 'Do Not Disturb' button turned on. turned it off. works fine.
