iphone detected but not identified

Hi,

Brand new Toshiba laptop with Win7 pre-installed, installed iTunes, and when connecting to my Iphone5S using original USB cable, i get the following message:

"An iPhone has been detected but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPhone then try again.

I've followed this help guide thoroughly but I keep getting the same error message.

Apple Mobile USB driver is installed, there are no conflicts or uninstalled drivers in my device manager.

I've tried different Iphone, different cable, uninstalled every Apple sw, and reinstalled again, tried every USB port,

I'm stumped :-(

iPhone 5s, Windows 7
