Outlook mtg requests and default alert on iphone

I am using Outlook 2010 at the office, and I always send meeting requests to my home email for appointment. I have iphone 6 with latest IOS. When I go to my calendar my requests are in my inbox, the only problem is before I accept the mtg request, I need to click on it and change the alert from 5 min to none, as I do not want any alerts. If the request is an all day item, then it defaults to remind me at 6am the day before. The meeting request that I send from Outlook is set to have no reminder. It would be a lot faster to accept the mtg requests if I didn't have to open each one and turn off the alerts. I have set the default alters on the iphone as well to none, but that only works for items I create on the iphone
