I cant download any app on my Ipad with iOS 51.1.

I cant download any app on my Ipad with Ios 51.1.

It's just asking for my account name and password. after I log in with the Id and password, it's telling me that and iOS upgrade is needed.

What should I do? How can I resolve this issue?

The software you are trying to download requires a higher iOS to run, and you are at the maximum iOS for an iPad 1. Take a look at this link to a fellow Support Community Member's site - Apple Club that tells you how to find compatible apps for your iOS:
