Not charging

Not charging

Hi, I dropped my macbook and now when I plug it in it says "not charging" and the little green light doesn't turn on. Is this a problem with the charger or with the computer?

Could be either if the MacBook Pro was attached to the charger when it was dropped. To find out for sure what is going wrong, take the MacBook Pro and MagSafe charger to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians test your system to see what is happening.

You are welcome. I would first try some simple troubleshootingApple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters - Apple Support and see if that helps. But it is more likely that the system needs to be tested by the techs since it was dropped.
