I did something wrong and lost my photos during back up. Is there anyway I can restore the photos from phone?

My daughter was trying for the first time to download some music to her IPhone 6, in the process, it appears that she deleted all of her photos from her phone. Is there anyway to restore the photos?

Not if they were not already backed up or synced to iCloud. Sounds like she plugged it into a computer for the first time and didn't pay attention to the prompt asking her if she wanted to set it up as a new phone, which proceeded to erase it.
