Does apple configurator 1.5 support iOS 8 profile creation and installation?

I have Apple Configurator 1.5 on one of my stations. I create a basic configuration profile (like WiFi) with Configurator and install it along with our MDM enrollment profile to our iOS 8 iPads. Our MDM then pushes down a few more configuration profiles. So yes, AC 1.5 works with iOS 8. However, newer versions of Apple Configurator may offer a few more features (like more available restrictions). We only use AC for the basics, then user our MDM for the rest.
