loud fan after replacing original hard drive. Resetting the SMC made no difference

I had a new 1TB hard drive installed after the original 500GB (Late 2009 21" iMac) died. The fan is really loud! I tried all the steps to resetting the SMC, but it is still loud!

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
