Can you save new paragraph styles in Pages so that it stay in the application, not just in the document?
I have created new paragraph styles and they only show up when the doc that i created them in is open. Can you save them so they are available in subsequent documents?

You can't add new paragraph styles to the app, but you can save the document that contains them as a template for future use.

The Styles need to apply to the document.
If they are global they change unopened documents, which is probably not what you want. TextEdit does this and it is tad annoying.
Pages '09 let's you import selected or all styles from other Pages or Word .docs. Pages 5 does not. Pages does not a lot of things.
