Should i install boot camp before upgrading to an ssd hard drive and should i do this before upgrading to 16gb of ram for my mid 2012 15 inch macbook pro,could someone please advise me,cheers.

If you mean installing windows then no you should do that after all your hardware upgrades.
It is in my opinion easiest to first upgrade your hardware in your 'stable' system that you have now. If something goes wrong then you can easily revert back to you old system.

Hi there thank you for the advice, i will get my macbook pro upgraded first and then put windows 8.1 on after,i have just punched 16gb vengeance ram 1.5 volts after researching for a while,whilst doing so i missed out on a deal for a 3d nand ssd dam it, never mind on the plus side the ram was very reasonable £65.99,hopefully it works a treat,its well needed for video editing and music production etc.
