Hi, hoping someone can help me please. I recently brought an ipad so I could create music on the go through garage band then import it into logic later. I have managed to get the garage band file from my ipad to my mac but when I try and import it in to logic I get this error message.
Can anyone help please. Importing music into logic was main reason I brought an iPad.

Logic pro is updated. Although my operating system isn't. Would that be the issue?
Updated the operating system and I still get the same message.
What does Logics' splash screen say as the version? It should be 10.2, otherwise you need to update. If it is 10.2, and you still get the "newer version" warning, then I don't know what to do, except maybve try importing it in "parts", via the file browser.
I'm still using Logic 9. It's 9.1.8.
That is your problem... Importing GB 'projects' requires Logic Pro X....... because only LPX contains the same plugins as Garageband now.. LP9 does not.
