how about the iMac performance (w/ windows 7 or 8 -boot camp) with the 2Gb Radeon R9 M290 card for programs like 3ds max or Solidworks?
I'm considering buying a new iMac retina 5k but I´ve read that by not carrying nvidia card will not get adequate performance in programs like 3ds ...
