What type of usb connection is on the Apple Airport Extreme: 1.0, 2.0, 3.0?

The port on the AirPort Extreme (and AirPort Time Capsule) is USB 2.0 (compatible with USB 1.0).....and due to processor limitations on the AirPort Extreme.....the port runs at about half of the speed of a USB 2.0 port on a computer....so things are going to be very slow if you are planning to connect a hard drive to one of the AirPort routers.
