Macbook got stuck on booting page after upgrading from Maverick. I did pram after that it died and now it's not powering up. Tried doing SMC but it's not powering up

can you boot in to recovery? (hold Cmd-R after Mac starts)
Try the SMC again. Make certain that you sure using the instructions for your specific type of MBP, a MBP with a battery you do not remove:

If no success, try the directions for a MBP where you can remove the battery.
NOTE: You do not have to take out the battery. Take off the bottom of the MBP. When you disconnect the battery, use an electrically non-conductive tool. You run the risk of shorting the battery and possibly damaging the MBP. Understand the risk involved.
