Q: why aren't certain songs playing in Nike app?

I have playlists in my iTunes that I listen to when I run, but ever since I got the iPhone 6 plus, more than half of the songs don't show up when I use the Nike Running app.  The songs play fine when I'm playing them through iTunes and I made sure to sync the songs to my phone from my computer, but for some reason they won't play in the Nike app.  This has been a problem for over 6 months now. I waited to see if software upgrades and/or app upgrades would solve it, but it hasn't. Everything is updated.

It's pretty annoying to navigate back and forth between iTunes and Nike while running just to hear what I want to hear.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Same, except I have a 5c! My running playlist has 48 songs on it, but in the Nike+ Running (now the Nike+ Run Club) app, only 8 songs show up. Very annoying, because I pay for the Apple Music app, and songs that I've added to my music from that service don't even show up there. I want to add some of these songs as Powersongs, but I'm not able to because I can't see them. This has been an issue since last year, and is also occurring in the Nike+ Training Club app I just downloaded.

Is there a fix for this, Apple?

I don't really know much about this but I would think that since Apple Music songs can only be played with Apple's own software and the Nike app is something Nike has issued that maybe that's why those tracks do not appear?

It seems odd because the songs that do show up are random. Some of them I purchased on iTunes, some of them I uploaded from CDs in the past, some of the songs ARE ones that I added via Apple Music. It seems really strange that some of them would appear and others wouldn't. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason.

Do a systematic analysis. Don't forget Apple Music includes a kind of Match feature and maybe the "Apple Music" songs you added are really ones in your collection which have been matched?
