how do i import a PDF file onto pages

Question

i have a PDF file, that i need to edit. who do i import a PDF file into pages? anyone?

No version of Pages is a PDF editor. Adobe Acrobat Pro, PDFPen Pro, etc. are PDF editors. Also, check the OS X App Store.

You can drop a finished PDF image into Pages as part of your document objects.

Preview let's you select and copy text from pdfs, but not edit the text in place.

pdfs are a graphic representation of a document they are not meant to be edited, although Acrobat Pro can do it to a limited extent.
