Why does my iphone dials multiple numbers at the same time

I have iOS 8.4.1 on my iPhone 6. I have restored my phone, re-set it to factory default at the direction of Apple Care professionals on three occasions. However, (the phone) without touching it, continues to dials numbers, sends numbers and symbols during a conversation or when entering an extension. The text keyboard is not visible in contacts. When in use the phone keyboard will be overlapped by the text keyboard. Is there a solution or a method to fix it myself?

Is the device plugged in when this is happening? If you restored the device to factory and it still malfunctions, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar to see about getting the device examined for a hardware issue.

If you've already tried restoring iOS and setting it up as a new phone, without restoring any backups, and it continues to exhibit the same behavior, make an appointment at the genius bar and take it in for service. It's a hardware fault.

An iPhone 6 should still be under warranty.
