Help me make sense of this kernel panic report please?

This is the second time my computer has restarted. It happens if I've closed the laptop and to put it to sleep, it restarts when I open it and wake it up again.

Below is the kernel panic report, might it be something to do with my firewire soundcard? It's an old focusrite saffire.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm making an educated guess that the problem is related to either your USB connected audio peripheral or the attached Firewire drive or both. As a test I suggest you disconnect all peripherals except the Apple keyboard and mouse. Uninstall any third-party software used to support your peripherals and, also, these two:

com.bresink.driver.BRESINKx86Monitoring 9.0

com.paceap.kext.pacesupport.snowleopard 5.9.1

Uninstall the Bresink monitoring software and the paceap software. Uninstalling should include removing the two above extensions. Restart the computer afterwards.

Now, you need to use the computer in this configuration for a time in order to see if kernel panics recur. If they do not, then reconnect one peripheral and any support software. Test that configuration. If no panics recur, then the problem is likely with the other peripheral and/or its supporting software. Reconnect them to test that hypothesis. If the hypothesis is false then the problem may be connected to the software extensions you removed.

Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on diagnosing kernel panics.
