For several months I have been experiencing calendar issues on my Macbook Air. Every time I create a new event with details etc, my calendar does not save the event details (title location etc) and "New Event" keeps appearing.

For several months I have been experiencing calendar issues on my Macbook Air. Every time I create a new event with details etc, my calendar does not save the event details (title location etc) and "New Event" keeps appearing. Have to try at least 2x to get it right. I don't have this problem with my iPhone 6 or iPad 2. All of which are connected by iCloud. Can anyone help?

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud. Deselect the box next to Calendars then reselect it.

On both iOS devices tap Settings > iCloud. Switch Calendars OFF then back ON.

Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync your Calendar data then try a new event.

You can always check Apple's system status to see if a server is down Apple - Support - System Status
