Q: Subscribe to iTunes match on iMac AND iPhone?

Was advised to subscribe to iTunes Match along with Apple Music so that my music that I didn't by through iTunes could be in the cloud. So, subscribed to iTunes Match via my iMac. Now says all has been uploaded to the cloud. Great! Everything I've read says then all I have to do is turn on iTunes Match on my iPhone, but on my iPhone the option is to subscribe to iTunes Match, and if I click on that, it takes me to the iTunes Match screen with the boxed text button saying "Subscribe for $24.99 per Year." That's not the way it's supposed to be, is it?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1

If you have already purchased iTunes Match via your iMac, then you should NOT be charged the subscription via your iPhone. It's possible the purchase may have been slightly delayed. What version of iTunes are you using on your iMac? What OS? If you are using the latest version, I recommending trying the link below on how to troubleshoot & resyncing your iTunes Match.

I purchased iTunes Match yesterday afternoon (it's 10:30pm here now). My iPhone shows the same. Must be a long delay!  It's an iPhone 6 running os 8.4.1. My iMac is running the latest OS & iTunes. I'm not there to look up numbers, but I last updated both within the past couple of weeks.

The page your link goes to is messed up. The content does not line up with the header and text does not wrap around, so I have to scroll right, then left, then right. to read everything. All the pages it linked to are the same way. I'm using the latest Safari.

I'm still getting the same thing. Could this have to do with the fact that my wife used her account to set us up with Family Sharing? We are trying out the family sharing version of Apple Music.

Sorry to hear about your issues with the link I provided you. Not sure what could be causing the content not to line up properly. And in regards to the Apple Music & Family Sharing aspect, it's possible that the Family Sharing may be running interference with connecting with iTunes Match. Is your wife's account signed in on both the iTunes Match service and on the Family Sharing? Maybe trying signing out of the accounts on any devices that you are using the services with, restarting the devices and then signing back in to make sure that the connection is syncing.

If the issue continues, I would suggest contacting the Apple Support page to speak with a representative about sorting out the issue. This may not be an issue on your end, but an access issue on iTunes Match connection with the accounts.

I am the only one to subscribe to Match, for which I used my apple ID. I just signed out, restarted and signed back in. No change.

Actually, I have discovered the problem. My purchase was not completed, so I'm not actually subscribed to iTunes Match. That's fine, because it turned out I didn't need it to solve my Apple Music issue as I had been told I did. So, all's well.
