I Followed the directions and now would like to see if the data did back up. How do I do that?
You can not actually see the data files in the backup. You just have to trust that the files are there. However, if the app supports file sharing. You can transfer the actual files to a computer using iTunes.

YEs that is the app. I see where the app sharing is located and the app is on the left so I looked on the right and there is an item listed with a date but there is nothing in it.
I Then went to my back up my Mac and I find where my back up is listed but it is locked and I do not know how to unlock it therefore can not retrieve the contemts.
i Had 147 recipes originally in this app and lost them all appearently when it updated to the next version.
i Am now reloading the app but want to make sure they are backed up.
