Mac with black screen in bootcamp

I Have recently been using my rMBP with an external monitor for the first time With boot camp. When I restart Into windows the windows logo appears and then the screen goes black (like its shut down) bur the apple logo on the back sometimes stays on I then force it to turn off and then It gets stuck on the windows logo and the dots spinning in a circle. anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong??
