Can an iPad 2 be charged in Europe without a converter?

Traveling to Eastern Europe. I have an iPad 2. If I have an Apple adapter do I need a converter as well to recharge my iPad ? I am getting different opinions. Thanks!!!

The charger will work without any converter. But you will likely require an wall outlet plug adapter such as those in the Apple World Travel Kit or in similar products from a AAA travel center.
