Wireless iTunes

Advice needed on accessing music wirelessly.

All my music is stored on an external hard drive. I would like to be able to access my iTunes library wirelessly from iPhone, iPad and Android device. Can I do this if I use a wireless hard drive? I need to be able to do this without my iMac being turned on, and don't want to use Apple Music streaming service.
