Difference between Photos-iCloud preferences and those in System Preferences-iCloud

Hi,

Just hoping that someone can clarify the difference/purpose of:

- Photos app, preferences, iCloud

- System preferences, iCloud, Photos, options

They seem to off the same options. Do they do different things? Do I need to enable one for the other to work? Is it just two ways to achieve the same thing?

You need to enable "System preferences, iCloud, Photos" to be able to use the iCloud services at all.

And in Photos you need to enable the options again for the current Photos library you are using. You can use Photos with several libraries, but only one of them can be the current system photos library and sync with iCloud.
