Language settings stopped my iphone from working!

This afternoon I changed my language settings from English to Korean. However, it shows a blank screen with Korean characters.

I cannot restart it nor can I take away the black screen.

I don't understand Korean that well, and I'm not sure what it is asking...

If anyone has had this problem or knows a way to get my iphone 5 normally working again,

I will be grateful!

I was so close to throwing it out the window from frustration.

Hello Viialicious,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand you've changed the language of your iPhone to Korean, even though you don't know Korean. To remedy this situation please follow the directions in the link below to restore the language settings back to English. If you're unable to access the Settings app, then please provide more information on what you are seeing.
