I have been using Time Capsule for a few years but today after I tried backing it up, I get an error "Time Capsule Not Configured". It wants to reformat Time Capsule which will cause me to lose all my info! Please advise

Sorry what it. The sentence implies you are going to backup the Time Capsule.. but since this is unlikely .. more likely you mean the computer using Time Machine.

Open the TC in airport utility and go to the disk tab.. is the disk ok.. There is a chance the disk has failed.
What model is the TC? A1xxx from the base please.
Using what OS??
