Safari quits for me on my iPad. I have reset the the network settings and rebooted the iPad with no success. Any ideas of what I might do to fix the problem?

Double tap the Home button, then swipe upwards on the Safari preview.
Go to Settings - Safari - Clear History.
Restart Safari.
To see that some website info is not hanging it up, go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.
Thanks. I just tried clearing the history and website data but no change. I click on the Safari and the page appears for about one second and it returns to the main screen.
I did as you suggested but the problem persists.
Do as Stedman suggested, double click the home page, swipe the content of each app up and off the top of the screen, and after terminating all of the apps, do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, takes about 10-40 seconds, then release both buttons.
Have you done a forced restart as per below?
Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
It worked, my Safari is working again. Thank you very much for the help!
You are welcome takes some perseverance sometimes.
