BTW, have you noticed that Apple no longer sells the batteries for notebooks that have replaceable batteries. Bit surprised about that. I have a 2011 MBP with a user-replaceable battery, but I had to find a third-party retailer because Apple no longer sells the batteries. I can't believe that the battery support has gone obsolete in just four years.

I thought this was going to be about getting butter on the MBP and causing damage. Oh well. 😟

I heard that they still sell them in store but not online. You can also call and order one. I still own a 2008 black MacBook that needs a battery,
