Server 4.1.5 upgrade on 10.10.5 lost users/computers

I lost all of my non-local server users (and computers) from my OpenDirectory after rebooting after installing 4.1.5 after installing 10.10.5

After installing 10.10.5 users were there, and then installed Server 4.1.5 and ran the Server tool to "update" server, and now my Open Directory users are gone:

I tried to restore the Open Directory from an archive from a few weeks ago and I received an error Exception below. I checked the Setup log for Server and it shows nothing related to errors for LDAP or OpenDirectory, just the same message I got in April when I last upgraded.

Has anyone else lost users?

I was fortunate, and my resolved itself on it's own. I'm not sure if something was rebuilding in the background or whatnot, but I left mine sit overnight, and surprisingly, in the morning when I logged in all of my directory users were present. Some of the tools were still flaky, due to cache no doubt, but a reboot and/or restart of the app cleared that up (e.g. workgroup manager, Server.app, et.c.)

Your milage will likely vary, but if you have a Time Machine of your system, you could revert by booting to recovery and reverting to and older date. Good luck.
