Navigated to Yosemite but can't locate former iPhotos

Upgrading to Yosemite was suppose to result in a storage folder for iPhotos on my hard drive. Can't find it.

iMac (20-inch Mid 2007), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

No it isn't. Upgrading to Yosemite makes no difference to iPhoto at all. Using iPhoto creates a Library, is that what you're referring to?
