Onscreen keyboard issues for iMessage

HI gang.

Just today I have started having issues with my onscreen keyboard. I will open iMessage and start to type a message as normal.

IT will be ok for a line or two, but where before the message would move up the screen to accomodate the keyboard, now the message stayes where it is, so I'm typing underneath the keyboard. Which is bad enough, but could be workable (even if shouldn't have to) if the send key hadn't stopped working. It doesn't let me hit it, always falls right under the backspace key do doesn't send..

Any ideas or easy solutions?
