Buzzing noise from power brick when charging macbook pro(retina)

HI,

My mac was bought back in 2012, and now I'm experiencing buzzing noises coming from the power brick while I'm charging. Is this normal, or I'll need a new charger...? But the new charger is 99+tax...

The charger should not make noise, so the best approach right now would be to take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians test it to see if there is a fault.
